Pastors Chris and Tracy Binion
Founding PastorsChris and Tracy Binion are the Founding Pastors of Encounter Church, which launched on September 10, 2017, with a clear mandate—to create a place where people can encounter the presence of God and be transformed by His power. What began as a step of radical obedience has now grown into a thriving, multi-campus church impacting communities across the region through three dynamic locations.
With a passionate love for Jesus and for people, Chris and Tracy have given their lives to building a life-giving church marked by the presence of the Holy Spirit, authentic worship, biblical truth, and a culture of discipleship. Their heart is to see individuals discover their identity in Christ, walk in freedom, and move forward in their God-given purpose.
Pastor Chris is a visionary leader, communicator, and author who carries a strong apostolic passion to equip the Church to say “YES” to God’s voice and step fully into their Kingdom assignment. Tracy leads with wisdom, compassion, and spiritual depth, helping cultivate an atmosphere where people feel seen, loved, and empowered to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Together, they model a Christ-centered marriage and a unified leadership that strengthens every area of the ministry.
Under their leadership, Encounter Church continues to be a church that is known for its mission:

Their greatest desire is to see every person experience a real encounter with the Father, live a transformed life, and carry the presence of God into their homes, workplaces, and communities.
Pastor Marlon May
Associate PastorMarlon received his call to preach at age 22. He delivered his first sermon shortly after and became a licensed minister. In 2002, he was ordained as an associate pastor. His previous roles have included Pastor of Helps & Hospitality, Director of Finance, Board Member, and Senior Pastor.
